Patio benches are just one part of an overall
patio design. Mix
benches with other outdoor patio pieces to create your own unique patio
environment.
Because they may be the largest pieces
on your patio, your benches may determine what else you can set on your
patio. One compact setting that works well is to place patio benches
opposite each other and separate the benches with a coffee table.
If you still have room, patio chairs can then be placed such that
they flank the benches.
Patio benches can also be complimented
by patio furniture “in motion”, such as patio gliders, rockers and
swings. In such a setting,
static patio benches serve to anchor the active environment.
