How Poly Wood Furniture is made:

Furniture starts out as HDPE pellets - up to 100% recycled from blow molded plastic bottles collected at recycle centers.

The pellets are vacuumed into extruder machines that melt and mix colors with UV stabilizer agents.

The extruder forms uniform boards of lumber with desired dimensional widths and thicknesses.

Like wood, the boards have a grained finish. The lumber is heavier than wood and has solid color throughout.

Computerized routers precision cut each piece of poly lumber, including mortise and tenon joins, to assure a solid fit.

Parts are stock piled waiting for your order. All poly lumber furniture from Shop-NC ships factory direct to you!

After being built, pieces are "knocked down" and shipped flat. Most furniture ships via UPS or FedEx ground. Larger tables and benches ship by common carrier.
