We are often asked "what is Poly lumber and how is the furniture made?" Here's a little about the manufacturing process and what goes into making each piece of Poly furniture:
 

Step 1:
Furniture starts out as a purified recycled HDPE pellet made from milk jugs and plastic bottles collected at recycle centers throughout the USA..
Step 2:
The pellets are vacuumed into extruder machines that melt and mix colors with UV stabilizer agents.
 
Step 3:
 The extruder forms uniform boards of desired dimensional widths and thicknesses.  The colors are solid throughout the boards and the colors will never fade!

Step 4:
A CNC router precision cuts each piece of poly lumber, including mortise and tenon joins - this assures a solid fit.
Step 5:
Parts are stock piled waiting for your order. All poly lumber furniture ships factory direct to you!
 
Step 6:
Furniture is assembled and then knocked down so that it ships flat to you. Most furniture pieces ship via ground UPS. Larger tables and benches ship by common carrier.
